The Oggly family arrives at the town dump in Smelliville, searching for a place to call home. However, they struggle to find acceptance due to their unpleasant odor and peculiar appearance. When their dragon, Firebottom, makes an unexpected landing at the neglected landfill in Smelliville, the Ogglies immediately feel a sense of belonging and decide this is where they want to settle.
