The Merry Wives of Windsor

Sir John Falstaff, seeking some amusement, pens two letters addressed to two married women, Mistress Ford and Mistress Page. Upon discovering the identical letters, the women conspire to play a few tricks on the knight to give him a taste of his own medicine. However, Mistress Ford’s husband, consumed by jealousy, is trying to extract details from Falstaff about the supposed affair. At the same time, the Pages’ daughter, Anne, finds herself surrounded by eager suitors.
