The Laplace’s Demon

Imagine a glass tumbling through the air. Have you ever wondered if it’s feasible to predict the number of fragments it will shatter into? After conducting countless trials, a group of scientists manages to achieve this seemingly unattainable feat. Intrigued by their findings, an enigmatic professor invites them to his secluded estate to delve deeper into their research. Upon arrival, instead of a warm welcome from their host, they encounter a peculiar replica of the mansion, where ordinary yet astonishing events unfold. The scientists soon realize they are part of a new experiment, one where they must assume an entirely different role: that of the glass in free fall.
