Tapeworm

A loosely linked collection of individuals navigate their bleak lives in Winnipeg. Among them are a frail man trapped in a joyless marriage, a comedian whose performances fall flat, a pair of stoners who engage in meaningless conversations, and a solitary young person, all of whom feel disconnected from their environment and those around them. In this unflinchingly sincere anti-comedy by Fabián Velasco and Miloš Mitrovič, mundane misfortunes escalate into profound tragedies, surpassing mere gloominess.
