Animal Kingdom

The series follows 17-year-old Joshua “J” Cody, who relocates to live with his unconventional family in a Southern California coastal town following his mother’s death from a heroin overdose. The family is led by the formidable matriarch Janine “Smurf” Cody and her trusted lieutenant Baz, who manages the operations and makes the decisions. The family also includes Pope, the eldest and most menacing of the Cody brothers; Craig, the resilient and daring middle sibling; and Deran, the youngest, who is plagued by issues and distrust.
