A playboy and a fortune seeker deceive individuals by engaging them in relationships with unauthorized robotic lookalikes. When they accidentally employ this con on one another, their robotic counterparts develop feelings for each other and run away together. This compels the pair to join forces to track them down before their secret is exposed to the authorities.
