At a dilapidated bus station in the Cuban countryside, the queue of travelers continues to grow. The issue is that each bus that arrives is already packed. Their only chance is to wait for the station’s bus to be repaired. As this diverse group settles in, connections begin to form among the passengers: Emilio, a young engineer, becomes infatuated with a lovely young woman who is on her way to meet her Spanish fiancé, and a blind man receives assistance from others to move to the front of the line. Chaos and frustration ensue when the one bus breaks down, leaving everyone stranded. Accepting their situation, the group miraculously transforms the station into a charming place where no one wishes to depart.
