In a not-too-distant future, the world as we know it has been ravaged. Paul and his sons, Thomas and Joseph, lead a precarious existence—enjoying peace during daylight hours but enduring terror once darkness falls. Each evening, they are besieged by a relentless and enigmatic malevolence. When Thomas fails to make it back home before nightfall one day, Paul is compelled to venture beyond the security of their fortified farm to search for him. This sets off a harrowing struggle that pushes the family to implement a last-ditch strategy to stay alive.
