Mac roams the country in search of his next scheme. After concluding a deal with his Midwest contact, Les, she tips him off about a lucrative opportunity in Indianapolis involving a bar owner. Upon arrival, Mac realizes that the situation is connected to his former lover, Evelyn, and soon understands that his past is closing in on him, threatening his survival.
