15 Minutes of War
In February 1976, a group of Somali insurgents seized a school bus filled with 21 French children and their teacher in Djibouti City. The hijackers drove the bus to a desolate area on the border between Somalia and French-controlled land. In response, the French Government dispatched a newly established elite team to free the hostages. The highly skilled squad reached the scene within hours, only to find the Somali National Army positioned behind barbed wire at the border. Faced with limited options, the French team devised a bold strategy: a coordinated sniper attack involving five marksmen to safely extract the children and their teacher. This account is based on true events.
